about

What’s a person to do when he wants to shout, but all he can muster is a whisper? Not so much defying genre as politely brushing it aside, Amicability captures a band growing into its identity while simultaneously attempting to challenge (and even subvert) that very identity. Despite the sometimes tight confines, ideas are allowed plenty of breathing room—they ebb and they flow, as ominous crescendos placidly give way to lilting, waltz-like cadences. Long and strange conversations to melt your face slowly. Own this.
